Care & maintenance

The stainless steel drum supports effective cleaning. Keep it in top condition with these steps:

Remove metal items such as coins and clips before washing.
Fasten buttons and zips, secure hooks and straps. Avoid belts and buckles where possible, or buckle them before washing.
Empty pockets, undo cuffs, and unfold garments.
Use a laundry bag for small, delicate, or metal-trimmed items.
After use, wipe the drum dry with a soft cloth. For storage or long breaks, leave the lid slightly open to ventilate.

Why surface rust can appear

Transfer from foreign metal objects can leave a rust film. Clean the drum with a suitable agent such as citric acid powder, machine cleaner, hob cleaner, or steel polish.
Deep scratches or dents caused by loose metal items or using the drum for storage can breach the protective surface. This damage cannot be removed and the drum must be replaced.
