DCX 48V POWER SYSTEM
Revolutionise your builds with the chassis-mounted DCX Power System
Built for Australian Conditions
Designed and engineered in Australia by OzXcorp, the DCX Power System is the first chassis-mounted energy platform purpose-built for caravans and RVs. It’s made to handle tough terrain, long trips, and high-demand off-grid living — all while simplifying installation and maximising space.
Distributed by NCE
NCE is the exclusive distributor of DCX across Australia and New Zealand, supporting trade partners and OEMs with national reach, expert technical support, and a deep understanding of mobile power integration.
Serious Power. Scalable Options.
Available in 14.3kWh and 7.1kWh capacities, the DCX system links to a 5kW 240VAC inverter/charger, supports up to 4kW of solar, and provides a robust 100A 12V DC output. Whether you’re going fully electric or retaining select gas appliances, DCX adapts to your power strategy with ease.
Plug-and-Power Simplicity
DCX was built to align with the upcoming AS/NZS 3001.2 electrical standards. It’s designed to eliminate installation complexity for OEMs and installers, featuring a true plug-and-play interface with all management systems housed within the battery.
There’s no external BMS required. No risk of wiring errors. No fine-tuning post-install. Just connect and go.
Chassis-Mounted for Real-World Benefits
By mounting externally to the chassis, DCX clears valuable in-cabin space and improves airflow, cooling, and safety. This design also avoids the risks associated with under-bed or interior battery placement.
Engineered for Safety & Reliability
Safety is front and centre in every DCX unit. Each battery includes:
- In-cabin thermal alert system with voice and visual warnings
- Dual aerosol fire suppression built into every unit
- Leading and lagging edge crush zones for physical impact protection
- Full system protections for over/under-voltage, over/under-temp, and overcurrent — monitored at both system and cell level
- All units meet or exceed UL1973, IEC 62619, and AS/NZS 5139:2019 best practices.
Ready for Harsh Environments
DCX is built to thrive in extreme conditions:
- Operates from -20°C to 55°C
- Rated IP67 for water and dust ingress (1m for 30 minutes)
- Designed to survive long-term flat storage (up to 3 months without degradation)
- Includes a unique Push-to-Power button to reboot the system instantly after deep discharge
Certified to Global Standards
Every unit is tested and certified to the highest standards:
- UL1642, UN38.3, IEC 62619
- GB/T 31467.3 cyclic corrosion testing
- TS16949 automotive-grade assembly
- ISO9001 certified manufacturing
- Complete, Turnkey System
- Included in every DCX system:
- Remote colour BMS touchscreen
- All mountng brackets and labelled wiring looms
- Interface hardware and compliance labelling
- Optional 15A external GPO for power-sharing between vans or site equipment
- Compact, Lightweight Design
- DCX14 (14.3kWh): 125kg nominal
- DCX7 (7.1kWh): 72kg nominal
Despite the high output, both variants are compact and low-profile, offering excellent energy density without compromise.
Service-Friendly by Design
If something goes wrong on the road, the DCX system is completely swappable. No need for an electrician. No specialised servicing. Just pull the unit and replace it — fast and easy.
Generator Support
To charge the system and support A/C passthrough up to 1kW, a generator or inverter with a minimum 2.2kW output is required.
